Inspired by nature The 40 mm stainless steel case, hands and hour markers of this watch from the Classic collection are matted to preserve Mondaine's timeless design and minimalist look. With a deep sea blue dial and strap made from recycled PET textile with comfortable cork lining and stitching, this timepiece pays homage to the wonders of our seas. Our Classic collection is equipped with a practical quick-change system that allows you to easily change your bracelets. Design art at its best and a true classic: developed by the SBB in 1944 for the train station, brought to the wrist by Mondaine in 1986 as the Official Swiss Railways Watch. Unchanged since then, this watch is not a status symbol, but a statement. The straight-lined design is inspired by the Bauhaus and stands for clarity and sustainability. Quite simply: the Swiss original. All Mondaine watches stand for Swiss quality and watchmaking tradition. They are handmade in our factory in Solothurn, Switzerland. There, every watch is tested for 30 meter water resistance and receives an international guarantee of two years.
